Mac Error Code –61
Error code -61 is the Mac error occurs when an external drive attach with the System, the OSX unable to support the external device and can’t transfer any files in to the hard disk and sends error message -61 to the user. This error basically appears when a drive is set to write protected and when a user tried to access the file from the drive. As it is protected to write, this drive not allows performing any modification from this. So it is necessary to a user to fix Mac Error Code –61 wrPermError.

Basically if the PC is infected by the virus, corrupt drive, incompatible driver, and faulty installation of the application are the main problem of this Mac error -61.
If the drive is read only and write protected at that time if a user attempt to any modification on the drive it creates problem.

If the external drive has not any permission to access the files, any modification, and any deletion it is only write protected. If the user attempt to modify this read only files a user can’t perform this and receives Mac Error Code –61 from the System.
You have to remove such permission from your System. You can modify on your drive if the write permission have been removed from the Mac. You can check the DISK of your System if the drive is set to NTFS file System you can change in to FAT file manually.
You can scan your PC with a good antivirus which will remove malicious program.
You have to keep update of your installed driver.
You can format the drive in which the Mac Operating System make usable to your drive at anytime.
